I'm using IPTV Join at the moment. It'll work with a wide range of hardware / software oprtions and is extremely reliable (touch wood!)... I use it with the IPTV Smarters app on my Android Box or on my Telephone Nua from where it will cast to any clever TV / Chromecast.

The Sky investigator then arrived at Robinson’s house and bought an Android box for €150.

Probably....but not all Androids cast video to all smart TVs. There can be a bit of trial and error involved. If you go to the live chat on IPTV Join they'll give you a free trial, probably 24 hours. You can then download the IPTV Smarters app on your phone, go to add user -> login with Xtream codes and input the user, pass and url they gave you.

If you have an old dodgy box it'll most likely work with that also. If it's an Android or Firestick install the IPTV Smarters app, if it's a mag you'll need to upload the Mac address, there's probably a tutorial on the website or live chat will tell you how. Outside of that you can download the channels as an m3u playlist which will work in some (often messy) way with most video players. There's also a Windows version of IPTV Smarters for PCs/Laptops... Just be aware that with one line subscription you can only watch on one device at any time although you can switch between devices as often as you like.

@TD42 - tell your kids to set up you with a NAS box/home server and use the apps Prowlarr, Sonarr, and Radarr to get you the TV shows you want.  It's pretty automatic once it's set up.  Then you'd just have to click on a link on your computer and all the shows would be there for you to stream or download on your computer.  And if they set up the security properly, you could even watch the shows on your phone in your taxi!

Rat Catcher is extremly good at all this, they don't call him the Boffin from Balbriggan fer nothing !!
To add he is a very amicable and helpful character BUT he usually loses me on the first sentence when explaining IT stuff to me.

It's not as complicated as it might seem at first glance. If yisser can log on here yis'll manage.... The www site mentioned gives quite good step by step instructions which are the same for pretty much any provider.
