Fair play to her for sticking her foot in the door - not a woman to be trifled with! - but what lesson will the 4 dependent children learn from their father who hits a woman? Shame she had to wait over a year to get her day in court and get a bit of compo.
Was talking to a comrade today who got robbed last night out in Killiney. Cops knew who he was and arrested him this morning. But apparently his stolen money is now evidence and he won't get the cash back until the case is over! Sometimes our job is shite >:(

Four of them bilked a fare and I couldn't get back up.
If it was back in my Checkers day there'd be an angry mob of cabbies. Alas, we don't back one another these days.

I was only half-listening to him. He dropped his guard because it was a posh part of Kiliney and the guy was wearing a suit (I think). Asked if he could change a fifty and the comrade pulled out his 'money bag' and bingo >:( Guy was arrested and he seems to have form for this - maybe some sort of kink or something. Like rich people who shoplift?

Yeah, but most wear thick jumpers so they're not recognised as women. Some even wear fake moustaches! The only way to catch them out is to talk about darts. No woman has any interest in darts, let alone play the game.

Those could be male taxi drivers in disguise. Whilst women don't like darts, some taxi drivers will do almost anything to go and watch darts...

The lovely Robyn was the first female to hit a 9 darter on the PDC circuit (Development Tour) if memory serves and she regularly lines up with her pub (which pub escapes me right now) team up above in Dublin in the "men's" league.
