Post by: Dr. Martin Gooter Bling on February 12, 2024, 05:22:52 am
this super bowl codology in ireland only started around 5 year ago by my reckoning. what caused this fan fare? it's always a great night like when that mcgregor itinerant is scrappin butcha never hear anybody talkin about the yank football at all and then all of a sudden the super bowl is sprung on you. i think it's just an excuse for a serious arthur scargill session.

Irish people will jump on any bandwagon, also a lot of them are ashamed to be Irish and would actually rather be British or American, they were raised by youtubers from the UK and the USA. The kind of ejts you hear saying things are awesome in an American accent (even though they never stepped foot in the place) and using American and British words instead of Irish words.

There was barely a soul out last night.

I paused the recording of the Super Bowl, thank f**k. No score in the first half. Me, fast-forwarding the waffle.

Good to see so many African/Americans on stage. A few less looting the shops I guess.

Post Malone, who looks like he got his head caught in a Franking Machine did America the Beautiful.

Reba McEntire, the country granny did the Star Spangled Banner.

How times have changed, last Sun night I typed "superbowl score" in to my iphone and the full ongoing match report came up in a few seconds.
Back in the early Eighties I was a huge american footie fan and used to get the bus in to town of a Wed afternoon to buy the Washington post in Easons to see the previous weekends NFL results.
Back then channel 4 used to do a weekly 1 hour show every Sun night fer the previous weekends highlights.
