The allegedly right wing extremist shock jock that tried to get elected to Europe bought his horrendous looking barnet in Blackrock (a cut above, I guess!) but once allegedly bankrupt himself setting up a magic it back hair restoration business of his own in Swords!

To be fair to Govt, I was chatting with a rigger (not rhyming slang - one of a team erecting a stage for something) outside a bar in Barcelona last Thursday afternoon and he told me there's quite a lot of animosity towards tourists among locals (of which he wasn't one) over there. Apparently, we're taking all their water and housing. I did mention that I was only on a day trip and not a drop of water passed my lips!

Was in barcelona last year, doubt I would ever go back, they love ripping tourists off over there, not surprised to hear they hate them.

Having been there a few times I can't say I've ever experienced any ripping off or, indeed, any impoliteness from the locals. I've never stayed there though, only day trips to buy smokes but always enjoyed a pleasant luncheon and few beers. One lady did once advise me against carrying my Ryanair "free carry on" compliant bag on my back though, suggesting it's not unusual for pickpokets to target such bags. The bag only contained a cheap jacket at the time which was mainly to facilitate carrying a few bits and pieces (book, sunglasses, etc) that wouldn't fit in the bag after shopping!
