What's interesting is now they're getting holiday pay.Plus now  that they're getting Minimum wage Uber can pull the levers to make sure they get just that and not too much more.Unintened consequences I suppose.

I've been reading on Reddit and the Uber gimps in the US are crying foul too since they got classified as employees.

I guess if they're some sort of employee and Uber is paying their tax, their earnings are probably bound to go down  ;)

Be careful what you wish for!  Same with restaurant workers in this country.  For years, they got tips and 'voluntarily' declared it for tax.  Some got ripped off by their bosses so the law was changed.  Now the company has to record all the tips and tell Revenue before handing it over to staff.  So no 'voluntary' telling Revenue what tips you got  oops
