One way to ensure very few turn up to a small event is to ask us if we would like a 30% pay cut a few days before the invites to apply for an actual invite are sent out.
I got the email but I don't even like going into the office, nevermind drink with them.

I know Bolt and Lynk pay their drivers more than Free Now. I think with Uber it depends on whether the driver elects to evade VAT or not. In any event, all three of those charge significantly lower fares than Free Now in my experience.

Guinness are the hosts and SFA to do with Fleece Now--they've been having those promo nights for years --when I was with NRC years ago they'd have a few nights for taxis and hotel staff--if you were well in you could go to both--free pints and good food in the sky bar--

To be fair, Free Now seems to be working on reducing it's fares to a level consistent with fares charged by it's competitors.
Unfortunately, it looks like that can only be achieved by reducing the rates it pays drivers from a level already below that paid by it's competitors to a level significantly below the same.
They'll still smoke their cigar....

Someday soon I might win the Lotto and not have to worry about Taxi driving or FN or any other Apps.
