Anyone else notice the obvious programming error i.e. full fare jobs are showing estimates at taxi saver rates and vice versa... a deliberate ploy or just the usual gross incompetence?
-
Disregard them all. They've been overestimating the price of the jobs for me for nearly a year.
-
Commonly seen €5-7 on full fare jobs in recent weeks.
Min fare with PUC is €6.40 / €7.40.
-
that's been going on a good while.
trips way underpriced on the app.
and then the customer thinks you've rinsed them when they see the proper fare.
-
Bolt also underestimates the jobs for the passengers. I had tourists who couldn't understand why the meter was higher than their app price.I've messaged them to complain but they just said it's an estimate and didn't seem to bothere. They know that the passengers will likely go with the cheapest quote from all the apps they have.

Very low prices I had a yank nearly going to war because it was 12 euro for Guinness to temple bar and she thought it be 7
If she sat on me I'd need a priest or goid doctor

I point out to anybody especially if i want to change the rout .The ID card with my name on it makes me a taxi driver .The app is a suggestion and the meter is the fare thats my contract with them anything they have with a third party is none of my business .Take it or leave it .

Had two consecutive offers this morning, both full fare i.e. including €3 booking fee. One was estimated at €6-€8 and the other at €6-€7. The contact email has seemingly been closed down so I went through the help section of the app and left messages asking how they arrived at the estimates for each of the jobs. I'll let yisser know if I get any reply.

They are absolute filth. ::fds

FYI got a "cash"job last week in a Circle K going to Enniskerry , on arrival in petrol station rang the punter no reply waited the 5 mins, reported the "no contact "on the app --reply came as it was a "Dispatcher" job scrub fee not applied--obviously staff to the hotel and ordered on their system -- so beware !
No mention of it on the job offer --we are getting screwed over and over by "Fleece Now "

Cash jobs you get fuck all if you're shafted.

To be fair, I got paid by Free Now for my last non-payer, commission free as it happens. Not a big fare, West Kilmore to Clongriffin but I only engaged in the rather lengthy chain of correspondence with support in pursuit of the 15c commission they charged on the €1.00 I had to enter to clear the job. I assume they chased the client for it - although they didn't offer that or any other explanation. Credit where credit is due.
