Visited Homestoreandmore this morning. it's full of shite but you always end up buying a ton of stuff somehow!

Anyhows, I found this torch / flashlight for €7 that seems pretty handy. It's got lights on the top and side, magnets on the bottom and side, and a built-in hook. I've stuck mine on the side of the fridge in case we ever lose power to the house. And I might stick one in the shed as well.
I didn't think of it at the time but you *could* stick it in the boot in case you ever got a puncture at night or as an inspection light for the engine? I don't know if it's suitable for the LRA (see what I did there!) but I don't see why not.
Tune in next week and I'll tell you the best place to buy washing up powder lol

Picked up a few broadly similar ones in Dealz a while back for €3 each a while back. Good bright light off them but probably lesser quality.

My dad had one of those it didn't last long less than a year and the led lights stopped working. He only used it a few times a week during the autumn/winter.

Chinese shite.... bet you can't get parts for them!

Those are torches sensible people buy! I went into Homestore to buy a bath mat. I had 1 job! But I left with a bath mat, 2 cups, a clock shaped like a teapot, a few plastic boxes (99C each), a halloween hand (discounted) and I picked up the torch while waiting at the till! I was quite pleased with myself until I got home and showed everyone what I'd bought oops

When the bulbs in the Kleverkit Flexi Torch Multi LED Light are gone they're gone, I guess.
Any update on the washing powder... or just as a teaser are we talking bio or non-bio?

With the amount of rain forecast, you're better off standing outside for awhile and wash your clothes that way. This method gives you the perfect excuse to drink whiskey etc afterwards - for medicinal purposes of course.
Bonus Tip! If you're using this method to clean your wife's clothing, might be best to wait until dark or do it in your back garden...
