Gardaí in Dublin seized almost €185,000 in suspected counterfeit €50 notes following an operation on Friday. This followed a search warrant at a property in Dublin 8 as part of ongoing investigations targeting organised criminal networks. During the course of the search operation, 3,695 €50 notes with a potential financial value of €184,750 were seized by gardaí.
No mention of equipment being seized so presumably the bad guys can just print up some more?
Most of us will be working extra time in the run-up to Xmas and the feckers seem to know when we're tired and susceptible to fake 50's so be careful...

sum bloke in a suit in a central bank prints euros out o paper ...... an all the apes go out to work every day for ther hole lives tryin to get it ..... an wen the apes are havin too much of a good time or gettin it too easy ...the bloke in the suit decides to print more so it's worth less an the apes have o work harder .... an wen the bank fails .... all the apes an ther kids kids have to bail it out ....
