What's the speed limit?
I recently noticed one road over the Southside with a lower speed limit for the bus lane than the other lane(s). I can't remember where it is (no surprise there) but I recall thinking it was a wonderful idea. I don't believe I've ever seen similar on the Northside but they should make all bus lanes 30 kilos/hour limit.

Between Foxrock and Cabinteely. The bus lane has a slower speed limit.

It'd be a great idea where there's only two lanes and one is a bus lane to limit the bus lane to 30 kilos/hour.

AFAIK it's 50 Kph for buses and 60 Kph for the other two lanes.

It was something like that alright but it was a wide road with pretty good peripheral vision, a dedicated cycle lane and wide footpaths IIRC. The main roads on the Northside are comparatively narrow with relatively narrow footpaths.
