Steal a car and break it without attracting too much notice.  Come back in the daytime in a van when the coast is clear and it won't look so suspicious?

Might also be leaving the tools for a few days in case the site is under the protection of some 'bad guys'?  Don't want to step on the wrong toes over a few power tools?

Or might even be brazen enough and try to sell/ransom them back through the site manager?
