Five big nights in a row coming up fer Cork taxi drivers, starting next Thursday night with the student's Halloween ball,
then on to Three days and nights of the Jazz festival and finishing off with Halloween on the Monday.
What is the group word fer Monkey ?
-
I found it, it's called a 'Troop' of Monkeys.
And that's my aim fer next weekend !
-
Plenty of monkeys up in Dublin lol

No, it's most definately not all work, 'I make Hay when the Sun Shines', as in working the graveyard shifts + long weekend shifts and doing a bit extra on Bank holidays, etc. The rest of the time I barely scratch myself !
As fer socialising, I very seldom bother, but by complete coincidence as you ask, I will be meeting a forum member tomorrow fer a few scoops, I reckon that will be about my Fifth time in a pub within the last Ten years.
-
Fair play your a good ol grafter.
One can’t do both, boozing and working nights.
-
Indeed, one of the reasons I work evenings, going to the bar one or two nights a week instead of seven.

-
I could get into my local alright but I'm generally too tired to bother.

-
They never let us in to that place.
-
Was there circa 92/93.....the cliche oul fella with the mack and trilby with the young fella in the jax....i was neither btw Tony!!
-
Brief couriers have the account for the place.I went in during the day on a job(I swear) and I was disappointed to see it was just like any other pub full of oul fellas.
-
Try it at night....you'll be amused!!
-
To be honest Hal I'd only be in there as a neutral observer to perv on the lezzers..The last time I was in a bender bar in Soho(by accident I swear they have great music..) the lads were giving us dirty looks like they wanted to fight us.If I did that to Gay lad in a straight bar I'd be locked up for being a benderphobe..Double standards.Great tunes though.
-
The good lookin lezzers or the ones that look like truck drivers....although beauty is in the eye of the beholder...or so they say!!
-
The ones that don't look like they'd box the head off ya are preferable Hal.
-
Do Brief drivers collect the parcels in their briefs?
-
Back then you got whatever ya wanted if ya had enough money...think they had to rebrand after they were raided by the welfare.
-
Benderphobe.....Laffin me bollex off
