Just back from Ladbrokes where a Scottish chap over for a stag do gave me a tip in the 1.55: Twenty Eight Guns 7/1. He was sober and presentable...so who knows?

Held up in rear, not fluent 6th, blundered and rider lost irons briefly 8th, badly hampered and unseated rider 12th tchd 11/2 and tchd 13/2

I managed to squeeze a fiver ew no problem. I don't do internet betting after Chelt 2012 when Paddy shafted me for best price on a horse. If I can't walk up or drive up...fuck it.

I did. Felt much better having lost the tenner at those odds.
