Just last month I was chatting to a Taxi colleague about recycling and how we knew so little about which item should go in which bin ?
Seemingly somebody somewhere must have heard our drunken ramblings and a week later a recycling website was advertised;
http://recyclinglistireland.ie/ (http://recyclinglistireland.ie/)

Fer those too lazy to click on the above website, the basics are;
Recycling;
No Bagged items,
I.E. Loose items only.
No soft plastic,
E.G. No Plastic wrappers or plastic wrappings.
No Food soiled cardboard, including Pizza boxes.
No plastic or paper Coffee cups.
No Silver foil.
Glass recycling;
Glass only preferably with the tops removed,
metal or plastic tops can go in to the recycling bin.
No Light bulbs.
No Cups, plates or ceramics.

Carrier Bags / Refuse Sack
Plastic bags get tangled in the machines and slow down work on the sorting lines as people must empty them.
Awww the poor workers.
The list is getting shorter and shorter.
I think it’s a plot to get us to throw more things into our black bins and then charge for it

What a load of bollocks. Two options, green or brown... pick the best fit and put it in.

The better option IMO is to read the website and
do it properly, it ain't that hard to read a few lines !

That's OK if you live in a flats complex and refuse collection is included in the annual service charge but I'm fukked if I'm ever putting anything into my black bin. Green and brown are included in the €110 annual fee, black costs another €x per lift.
