What is a "Goliath Combo" ?
I know that a Goliath is a permutation of 8 selections in Doubles and upwards
amounting to 247 bets in total, a total 'Mug' bet.
A 'Combo' is usually used to combine Forecasts or Tricasts in a particular event,
again a total 'Mug' bet.

Goliath...1c ew costing 4.98. Spare me the imperiousness, Belker...if you were any use as bookie you'd be mixing with the jet-setters and not the hoi-polloi. Like you I go out on the lash every now and then...one of them was a big price is all I remember. Exact sum won was €308. Goliaths are for mugs but a fiver is not going to ruin me. I thought you'd know the real mugs are the ones lashing out on "sure things" or auld time board-markers trying to get all digital when competing with real professionals like Laddies and Powers.
