It will be interesting to see how the autonomous vehicles cope with 'Parade days' or 'Marathon days' in the cities when most of the inner city streets are closed off to all traffic.
I fairly gave Google maps a good lashing last Paddies day as it constantly directed me on to streets which I knew were closed off fer the Parade.

Why did I think these were illegal all this time?
-
I wouldn't say they'd get a good star rating in them NCAP crash tests.Even the crash test dolly wouldn't survive one of them.

A lot of people have said that to me, but I have checked every Irish motor law website
and I can't find anything that sez that they are illegal.
Also the Joe has passed numerous NCT's and Suitabilities with it on.

My one has the much bigger clamp, so there is absolutely no movement on it.
Available in 'Motorway' car stores fer under a Tenner.

With the seat-belt and the airbag you would probably be safe from the spinning handle.

Be grand I'm sure.I never get a chance to go fast in Dublin anyway.I honestly thought it was for someone with a disability. What advantage would a fully functioning dual armed person get from having one?
Would ya consider getting the other controls moved to the steering column too?

A client of mine suggested they compensate for small genitalia - we were stopped beside a taxi with one fitted and he remarked that your man needs a knob on his steering wheel 'cos he has fuck all in his trousers... Ray Ebbs used to have one, if memory serves.

So did Terry in the late lamented Foxrock cabs. Possibly a throwback to his lorry driving days.

They really are de 'Dogs Bollocks' fer doing U-turns, try it, I'll guarantee you'll never take it off !
Back in 2010 when my meter installer guy was fitting my base radio, aerial and roofie he gave me his car to drive home in fer the few hours it took to install all the bits, it had a spinning knob on it. I put a Spinning knob on my Joe that very same day and have never taken it off since.
