Where do we stand if we have CCTV in our Taxis?

Dash cams are illegal in Ireland as far as I know cause they record sound...
But nobody seems to give a toss......

They are not illegal to use in Ireland, probably won't stand up in court with the data protection shite but not illegal.

I phoned them Tony an they told me different ..... "Don't be recording their voice and ya be grand an put sticker on the window"......they said

Once you advertise the fact there's CCTV in the car you're good to go.
No audio.

A fanny cam is different altogether, ya don't need audio for that.

Most dash cams can record without audio. Once you have stickers you are good to go.
They have helped me in a few scrapes over the years
