Title: Doggy Style
Post by: john m on May 18, 2018, 12:01:33 pm
Driving down Sundrive Road yesterday with the prebook screen open looking for short hops .A job jumps up on the screen close by with a tag line With A Dog .I hit it as it was only a tenner fare so a nice tenner top up .But after I tapped it I noticed it was not prebook the job offer just popped upover the prebook screen .Any hoo I still covered it thinking the customer had a Guide Dog or Medi Dog .So I drive to Drimnagh and the girl is waiting outside the house with a Border Collie .She asks do I mind .I say no so her and the dog get in the front .Lovely Dog .Then the girl tells me the dog is actually blind .He goes for walks chases a ball does everything that a full sighted dog does .Just thought it was nice to see a human looking after a blind dog and not the dog looking out for a human .

I'm one of these people who wouldn't let a dog in me car no matter what, I'd spend half the day sneezing and cleaning up the dog hair afterwards

Ive picked up a few, there seems to be more medi dogs .Some kids with ADHD or Autism seem to have dogs .You can tell what sort of condition the dog owner has as there seems to be coloured coded harnesses .

How does he chase a ball if he's blind?  And how does he avoid running into trees?

I had these Three chungwans in the cab One night all going in to town and the conversation was all about their Pets, the Lead chungwan telling all the others how far out of town she had to go to find a place that would allow her to bring her dog. Just as we are about to hit Town on Abbey street this White cat runs straight across the road in front of me allowing me no braking time so I Mow him over.
The Lead chungwan after hearing the bump ask's; "What was that ?",
I tell her; "Ah, dat was just a 7-Up bottle Luv !".

Possibly boy a bell inside the ball, just like the way the blind people play tennis
