"They only put in a nickle but they want a dollar song "Taxi driving is a minimum wage job best suited to those of us who dont want to or cant work .Its not a source of income for somebody with a 400K mortgage kids in college and a pension plan .To many people see drivers glad handing cash all the time and think we are making huge coin but after expenses your average taxi driver earns a lot less than a trades man .I was talking to a Romanian Lad who bought a wheelie and stopped renting a car he said he fucked up now its costing him nearly 500 a week in repayments ,insurance and fuel before he gets any wages he works 7 days when I asked him how long his days are he said until I get tired .

Guy on Joe Duffy 2 yrs ago quoted 10 grand for Peugeot Expert......he had been renting for 3 yrs. I know a retired man, 62, quoted 13 grand for an Expert....he has no previous taxi experience at all.

I wonder if there were two lads on one policy cosying would it make any difference to the huge qoutes?

Separately has anyone ever put a new driver on their policy and is it really expensive or do they benefit from your NCB?

Separate premiums and NCBs in the good old days, I assume the same still applies.
