Me bollox not sending you work you need to reset your poassword .You can google how to do it .Worked last night finished early and an hour this morning never got a job off it .

That app is absolute shite. I just proved to myself I don't really need it. I Knocked it off last night at 9pm. I havent had a night like it in ages, all cash work too. Same again tonight.

Very frustrating with job offers kms away,if i was to accept those jobs my fuel costs would increase dramatically due to the dead miles to pick up....and then no guarantee that they won't cancel plus when no destination shown....but even if a destination is shown,no guarantee that's where they're actually going.

I don't know if they fine them,but we won't see any of it unless we request a scrub fee,but from a distance point of view you have to travel 5kms or more,if they cancel as you arrive at their door...you're fuked.

tried toreset it last night wouldnt workredid it again today it seems ok .they never sent any e mail when i checked on completed jobs there was none recorded so i didnt cover any prebooked in case i didnt get coin .all seems ok now .

I received an unsolicited text from them last night to notify me of the high volume of high value prebooked jobs on the screen rofl I had a look. 698 jobs of shite is all I could see. Most of em miles away from me and no doubt that they were all account work. Fuck that.

Ya have to scroll down through loads of gick jobs to find something that's anywhere near you and at that if even a gickier job, with hailo you could select jobs near me which was much better.... But still shite jobs.

In my case I didn't need to reset the password, it worked after deleting and reinstalling the app. If the top of the screen doesn't show your "points" you have an issue. Once the points are displayed after log in you're back in business.
I was chatting with a client from a major tech firm last night who suggested that many of his colleagues have stopped using the app in Ireland and gone back to their cab firm as a result of being let down on prebookings.

I don't need to do a course on pre booking...nor do i want to be an ambassador but if Mytaxi want to put in barriers to who does or doesn't get offered work before other drivers well that's up to them...it's very fukin simple...offer the job to the nearest fukin driver...it's not rocket science....but then if it suits a narrative that they're touting to the NTA....i'm sure they'll have a powerpoint presentation with loads of graphs with different colours....and using big words anall.

Do yis ever see the look on the passengers face when you tell them there's nobody actually looking at the prebook screen unless it's a long job.They think there's a real person giving out the jobs and supervising pick ups.

Also noticed(before the update aswell) that where a destination is input...when you arrive at said destination that it offers jobs in the vicinity where the journey began.

Lazy, probably. However, mytaxi is extremely popular with clients. A significant knock on affect of that popularity is the concentration of scum among remaining street hails, particularly up above in Dublin. What I mean by that is that the concentration of scum is much higher than before Hail0 came along as there's a lot less street work and among what's left is pretty much all the scum including those that don't want to risk any tracking of their movements and those culturally opposed to learning basic literacy skills. Having said that, mytaxi isn't foolproof by any means - I have been offered "McDonagh" from the Priorswood and someone posted an offer from a halting site, just the concentration of scum on the app is very significantly lower than on the street.

Well I did the same again last night and I had an even betterer night. Turned the app off at around 9 ish and just worked the streets. There was loadsa work after the rugby and the concert and the traffic wasn't too bad tbh. Another plus was no account work after 9 so i earned 8 hours of cash and it's all mine Yay!
I had loadsa cunts giving out about metaxi and how shite the app is in which case I had to agree with them. As crimbo party season is getting closer can't see metaxi fulfilling all their prebook shite. Hopefully the busier it gets more people will be inclined to walk out and hail on the street. I'll probably use the app sporadically but I'll be cancelling any metaxi jobs if I see a street job enroute to a possible cord job.

Account work is the correct term. Not all mytaxi "Account" fares are settled by card, some are corporate accounts.

I reboot my phone every Monday to upgrade any updates or patches .It seems that doing this changed my phone number that is entered in the app ,make sure your first four digits are 3538******* .If the phone No is not right it wont open the CRAPAPP .
