heyaz all, new taxi driver here, anyone having trouble with the mytaxi app tonight, i had terrible trouble with it, maybe just overloaded, just want to make sure its not just me, thx all

I didn't have any trouble with it at all....cos it wasn't switched on!!

it was slow to register fares . what the  fuck were you doing using an app and paying 12% when the streets were full of work .

Because MyTaxi got him driving a taxi and now he is their bitch(apparently)

Yes. Various error messages all referencing Error 406 (not acceptable) - one asking me to close the app and reopen in a few minutes - all with cancel or retry options. I just pressed cancel as they arose without restarting the app and it worked as well as it generally does which isn't very well during busy/bonus periods. The ridiculous long winded fare entry process (where the UI waits for numerous server responses that ought to be handled in the background) has always been slow during busy/bonus periods.

The bonus covers the 12%, give or take a few pennies.

Does it cover the dead mileage to jobs....cos i seem to be the closest to all these jobs that are 3+kms away...but never closest to the job 50m away.....anyways...couldn't give a bollox!!

I guess the PUC covers that, particularly in suburbia where there's no traffic.

Got a job to Skerries, I could have got a job 1.5 mms away off MYTAXI but I wanted to show them how smart I was , so I drive 30kms empty back to town...that'll show 'em!! rofl
