So after telling us there wont be a hard border in Ireland Covney and Ross get caught on an open mic saying there will be ..Typical Irish low life scumbag Politics .The Gay Forigner and his lackies have allowed the EU to use us as a stick to beat the Brits .You would think the last people Ireland would cosy up to would be the EU after the way they robbed us with the bank bailout .Coveney admits after Brexit there will be a hard border so why then are we insisting on a backstop that we know will lead to a hard border .The Brits are going to take a dim view the Irish political class fucking up their Brexit out of spite .The Brits will destroy Irish trade by delaying every truck car or bus that ever tries to leave this island .Shamefull carry on by FG trying to play hardball with the Brits to try impress SFin the hope they might go into coalition with them .

If Brexit goes ahead cost of living soars about 20% that impacts on disposable income huge job losses .Impact on your earnings will be huge .Worst guess impact about 50% of your income is gone on increased costs of living and running your business and reduction in taxi usage .The hidden monster is the Fiscal Treaty which is written into the constitution that restricts our deficit .If our GDP/GNP drops as a result of job losses and lack of trade then the government need to balance the budget so cuts to welfare /pensions spending and tax increases .As I posted earlier we will be back to the 70s 33% basic income tax and 45% on anything over 30K .Brexit will have a bigger impact on us than a divorce .

Seriously John M, Who gives a Fook, As Taxi drivers we are Sole Independent traders, Brexit or Not is of little interest to us, we are all still free to carry on about our work and I can't see Brexit affecting us much in any way.
If the economy were to fail again, then maybe and just maybe I would restart my 'Bootleg' business again, it kept the Wolf from the Door during the last Rescission years.

Occi in 2012 I got a gig off Roys site to address Chief Account Managers from most of the Multinationals at Microsofts HQ in Leopardstown .I predicted Brexit and said if the UK go we should go with them .Im still of that opinion .Ireland is of absolutely no signifigance other than an address for multinationals to claim tax breaks .If the Brits decide to go low tax to encourage foreign investers and the duty or tarriffs are less than the difference between their tax rates and mainland Europe then a post Brexit Britain will boom and we will be wiped out .Our future is as a hostel for unwanted migrants funded by the EU .In 10 years time if there was an Irexit vote I think we would vote leave but leave to where or what .We have only two choices stay in the EU or beg Britain to take us back .We sold out for a few miles of roads and a few coins for farmers .Best chance we have now is under the Good FRiday agreement we can live in the North dont be surprised if your kids or grankids end up living in Strabane or Limavaddy .The Brits wont want us but the Nordies have to accept us .
