I ain't flyin anymore for a number of reasons..
Not least the airline pilots who have committed suicide in the last few yers an brauth everyone wit them
The number of autonomous aircraft that have committed suicide an brought everyone with them....
The number of piolete that have admitted waking up mid flight from a deep sleep to find the other piolete an the navigator asleep...
The number of piglets arrested for been absolutely gee eyed pissed flyin planes or attemptin to fly...
The number of the cnuts who tested positive for cocaine....
The fukin hole in the ozone them yokes burn just so ya can sit in a bar in torramalinous or begmelladina makin a holy show of yurself winking at burds half yur age sittin in yur undersized speedos an yur varicose veined hairy stomach hanging an lickin yur palm an adjusting yur hair flap totally oblivious that yur past it by about 25 fukin yers ago or there about.....

We call those guys Coneheads!
Nothing they can't take apart.
But in most cases Avionic components are replaced .
The U/S part goes to the Coneheads in the workshop.

My Citroen buddy in the UK is like that....parts that service manuals say discard and replace with new...he doesn't, especially with parts that were readily available back in the 70's and 80's but becoming scarce if not already obsolete other than coneheads delving into them to figure them out.

I saw a documentary about the the new 737s that crashed.
the story is they put new designed engines on the wing but they had to be moved slightly forward to fit.
this in turn destabalysed the weight of the plane and made the nose heavy.
so they installed a yokey bob in the cockpit that constantly works to keep the nose level.
but Boeing did'nt bother to tell anybody outside the factory about it.
was'nt in any of the manuals and no pilots knew about it.
sure the planes fly themselves these days.
you turn it off and the plane nose dives straight down out of the sky.

The new engines sat a bit higher on the leading edge of the wing but made the nose pitch up which in turn would lead to an aerodynamic stall....and you're right,no pilots knew that the mcas system was installed.

No yiz are all wrong again.... Over thinkin tings...... The planes wer autonomous thinkin artificial intelligence...... And they topped themselves because they we'r depressed or lonely or sumtin...

They installed only ONE AoA sensor to compensate for the fuselage imbalance..
Two would have helped, but weight is everything.
As someone commented here, most aircraft are unflyable without computer management.
As they are are aerodynamically unstable.
Older aircraft were based on gliders, but everyone wants cheap flights...so!!
