Gardaí are appealing for information after a cash in transit robbery in Drogheda, Co Louth.
It happened outside a bank on St Laurence Street at around 10am this morning.
Two masked men, armed with pipe-like instruments, threatened security officers and stole a cash box.
The men left the scene in a 2007-registered dark green Opel Zafira.
The car has since been found burnt out in The Dale area of Drogheda.
Investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are looking to speak to any witnesses, as well as anyone who has information on the movements of the getaway car.
