Now they are fukking liars as well. Imagine telling people you are your own boss, when these cunts really think that THEY are your boss, and act accordingly.they must be feeling the pressure from mytaxi taking all the drivers
-
It's all about the bottom line.
-
Cat way of advertising..
-
The existing drivers Ebbs has, dont have the balls to object to their pie becoming smaller.I hope all tese cunt radio cmpaies g out of business, they are not needed in the first place
-
They are not offering the same bonuses as mytaxi for signing up, all you get is two weeks free freight

Mustapha plan in mind?
Ebbs is seperated, several times we hear.
Is he going to do LYMP weddings matching Pakistani gents with Baltic brides?
-
Its a mystery how ANY of the radio scum has survived up till now, considering mytaxi are wiping the floor with them.
-
Apps, not radio companies, are the ones sounding the death-knell. They're the facilitators of total state interference.
-
I heard over the weekend that not long after cab 2000 have taken over express, now they are merging with vip. If this is true, than cab companies are definitely on the way out.
-
Diversification. You've got to be thinking ahead.
-
I think mytaxi's open to all approach was the key to its success. Others tried the "full-time
whites professionals" approach and went nowhere. Full timers are now as happy as pigs in shit paying mytaxi at least double the freight Irish firms charged, not so bad for the part-time scum though. I see a black lad with C2K too... times are a changing! Did yis hear the new mytaxi ad on Radio Nova... an immigrant telling us how he felt like a rescue worker while working for mytaxi during last year's snow... his taxi is your taxi, apparently... cringeworthy!
-
Programming.........."Reframing" as shrinks say.

Start bringing donuts into HQ....and watch your popularity rise...sort of!
-
An Ad with a good-looking young Feargal playing the melodic and dulcet tones of the Uileann Pipes with a fat, sweaty Irish bird dripping in tats........and the way he might look at you........if he was indeed..... a he.
-
Jaysus...i'm feelin thirsty now!
-
Short trip to Dún Dealgan...........a piney Heeurp as they say in Tyrone.
-
Think i'll head to Scotch Hall with the missus and have a skinny latte.....and park me jammer in the town with a pretend leccy cable goin to the parking meter!!
-
No doubt, Farely Jackmaster Funk playing in the dim and distant....
-
Man to Man meets Man Parrish?
-
I'll be in Drogheda next Fri Hal........not by choice....a small matter of looking at a house........we're getting a bit of stick being like Felix and Oscar in Tallaght....I can feel the air turning.........the tide is against us.....
-
I'll get on to the Mayor and organise buntings and a welcome committee...let me know what time you're arriving?
-
Is the Town big enough for the both of yeh???..that's the question that the Sparks Bros would ask... :)
-
One more headcase won't make a difference!!

I believe she's been givin out on social media about being refused from her local boozer.....i thought she was homeless! ::)

You took too long to reply. Quick smash and grab is more effective. She has a job interview nearby.....her agency work might be about to come to an end with the unrest etc. Driving up and down the M1 in a Picanto will soon put her off weekends with an agency anyway if we ever do move. Pointed out how Drogheda has its own social problems but there's an air about the place we're in now..........bit tense.
-
Sounds like yer whipped Ll...following a bit of tail into the middle of nowhere..
-
Not yet, Merc. Trying to get her to see reason but she's been targeted for working Agency terms on far more poke than the run-of-the-mill nurse. She has a Masters in Clinical Nursing Mgmt and there's some gig paying out big bucks plus for a manager of some place. Being a workhorse she'll still want to do the agency shit on Sundays..........I am working very hard to stop it happening but there's a shower of scumbags near us who have decided I'm a copper working undercover.......not the first time it has happened. Sounds all Donnie Brasco but it is a fact. Can't help my thick-head and big build.
-
Just tell them yer not a filthy pig. There's at least two coppers living in my area but they know to mind their own business so they don't get bothered. The scummers know the cops aren't much cleaner than themselves. If you've no attachments to your area then keep moving.
-
Nah..........my big mouth soon adds fuel to the fire. Not very bright these lads though.........

Ah sorry bout dat....was out n about with the missus....clutch went in her car on Thurs...got it sorted yesterday....and we were enjoying each others company!!
-
Does she read everything you post, you abject lickarse? lol
-
Wha?....she doesn't read anything i post....sure she has a life....she has facebook!! lol
-
She should get a Prius.
-
She should get a Prius.
She has the car from new(i bought it for her actually)2007,now that she's back working fulltime she want to change it in a year or two....i said she needs to get her moneys worth (€340) out of that new clutch, they changed the gearbox oil while they were at it,said it was mank....i'd say it was with 220k on the clock....she said she'd like one the Corolla hatchback hybrids when she does change.
-
Splash the cash for the saloon then ya can work it in an emergency.Feed two birds with one scone.
-
5 good yrs left in that...2007 private motor.........no problem with that mileage.
-
What I done with Mrs. Catcher was make her think it was her idea to take my old yoke...saved her a small fortune and she thinks it's great for the planet to extend the life of an ex-taxi... well albeit my ex-taxi which, in honesty, probably has lower kilometerage than most private cars of a similar age... If you want their opinion you have to tell them it!
-

Absolutely, i service it when it needs doin.....i was prepared to do the clutch..although i've never attempted one before..i did price the 3 piece clutch set....€154..but i would have had to get the car out to my buddys workshop in Tullyallen and would have taken me the day no doubt...well worth paying someone else to get their already dirty hands dirtier!!
-
Wouldn't tackle a clutch myself nowadays, at least a day's work in it... Euroclutch in Baldoyle do it in half a day and I've never had a problem with their work, always lasts as long as the original.
-
How many k do you reckon you should get out of a clutch before you have to change it ?
-

Indeed...i left the car with him on Sat afternoon, said he'd have it on the lift to start first thing Mon....i had a missed call from him at lunchtime...turned out it was ready then but i was having some me and me missus time...i thought €340 was a good price.
-
Depends on the motor and how you drive it, DM. c.150,000 kilos was what I got out of my manual Octys, MKI and MKII. Mrs Catcher got about 170,000 kilos out of her old 2005 Fabia.
Sounds reasonable enough, Hal... it obviously isn't a DMF... did you tell him you're a taximan, without mentioning that you drive a Prius!
-
2 drivers a clutch might last 5 yrs. Lazy left legs cause the probs.
-

He knows i'm a taximan...and drive a Prius....he changed the perished rubber injector hoses on my Citroen aswell,i wasn't comfortable doing them....he's an east euro chap....actually has an old Citroen Traction Avant in pieces in his warehouse.

Stuart is the boss, isn't he... well, he was last time I was there. The Eastern European lad does the work though... where'd we be without all dem immigrants?

Don't know if that's a reply to me but it's a garage practically beside me,run and owned by Vigis.
-
Oh right, thought you went to Euroclutch. Damn immigrants get everywhere... taking all our work and riding our wimin anall.

The car was just about driveable...to the bottom of the hill where the garage is....i asked another mechanic i know(Irish guy) who's on the opposite side of the road,he had a look in his book(so did i)...Wed and Thurs were free...."can do it next Fri"....for €450!!
-
Still, at least he's Irish... it's the likes of you that has all them immigrants coming here undercutting our hard working, skilled tradesmen and grease monkeys... anall...

Good Catholic tho' 8)

I currantly have 300,000 on the clock .its a toyota avensis.the last car I had was a skoda superb, with which I had endless clutch trouble.I have since been told that skoda cars are notorious for the clutch going in them.also the DMF
-
You can rely on VAG clutches to go, alright... Most expensive repair on my MKII Octavia @ €600 and put two of 'em in the Triggers's Brush (MKI).

Just enjoy the new motor RC.
-
It's dirty now... the enjoyment phase is over, just another workhorse.
-
600 a pop seems cheap rat,did that include the DMF as well ?
-
Cheap is debatable but I guess it was a fair price, Stuart does look after his taximan clients. It did include the flywheel, you'd be mad to change one without the other IMO. I priced the parts online at the time and I think they were a little over 4 ton. Mrs. Catcher's non-DMF clutch was a little over 3 ton and the old MKI Octy (with DMF) which Stuart done twice was closer to 7 ton if memory serves, can't be precise as I don't have the service record for that motor on this computer.
-
Rang euroclutch this morning ,just out of curiosity you understand.quotes me 11hundred for clutch, and flywheel.believe it,or not it was by far the best quote I got.main dealer wanted 1600,and others 14/15
-
Seems steep... got mine done in Feb '15... price has nearly doubled in 4 years?
-
Im not getting any hazzle from my clutch at the moment, but there is nearly 300,000 k and its the original one ,so I doubt there is much left in it

My Mechanic charges €600 for the clutch and DMF labour is extra.
-
Yeah thats about right silver, but they tell me there is at least a days work in it,so at about 60 an hour for labour you would be right up there in the figures I quoted

I'll pm you his number, it might save you 2/300 Euro.
-
It's obviously not an Octavia with 300k before it needs a clutch... I guess double the price for double the kilometreage and double the work (Octy took half a day) is kinda fair... mind you, I doubt the immigrants operating the spanners are on €60/hour.
I think I recall Watty getting his Octy done for a little less than the 6 ton mine cost... might be worth checking with his mechanic too.
-
Fukkin hell... six ton would make most taxis and economical write off.
