Man accused of stealing almost €4,000 of gambler’s credit from casino slot machine

The alleged incident happened at Dr Quirkey’s Good Time Emporium on O’Connell Street

Madalin Oprea of Ballyshannon Road,Kilmore, Coolock, charged with theft.

That casino hasn't had much luck over the years.  Wasn't one of the senior managers stealing 100's of thousands millions of euro at one stage?  And the ultimate owner is a former Garda!

No garda enquiry, as suspect in €2.5m fraud at firm that runs Dr Quirkey’s Good Time Emporium is dead (2022)
