Counterfeit notes.

The older 1st series Euro notes had a raised section at the top in the middle fer the blind, which was handy to feel fer in order to detect a conterfeit note.

But the newer 2nd series Euro notes has different features fer the blind;

The real ones have pictures of Catherine McAuley but only portray her down to her knees.

On the fake ones, you can counterfeit!! 8)

they missed a trick with the euro note.
ye know the way the country of origin is displayed on the back of coins. we have the harp. on the back of the notes they shudda had identifying artwork unique to the country as well.

A blind accordionist called Michael Moran who was a regular with Metro cabs could tell the note size from his finger length.
