One thing I noticed with my new Taxitronic meter and my old Hale SPT-01 meter is the buttons...my Hale had physical(mechanical)buttons that(after many years) became temperamental especially the on/off button..my new meter has haptic buttons..that's not to say they can't/won't become faulty.

I've haptic controls for the sound system and heater, and often miss the two up!

If I get a particularly attractive girl in the front I'll put on the heated front seat. 8)

A quick google says a meter is ~350 with another ~250 for the printer (total ~600).  Maybe he misunderstood the quote?

The Hale Microtax 6 priced at €250 on their website is €550 in the real world.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.
