South African ICC female judge wins Nobel Peace Prize

A South African (1) female (2) judge (3) who sits on the International Criminal Court (4) has won this year's Nobel Peace Prize (5).  "In ‌September last year Ms Pillay oversaw the publishing of a report by ⁠the UN Commission of Inquiry ‌that concluded that Israel had committed genocide (6) in Gaza ⁠and ‌that top Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (7), incited these acts - accusations that Israel called scandalous."

Trump and Hegseth want to abolish the ICC because there's a chance it might come after them for war crimes (9) once the two of them leave office...

And while Trump is functionally illiterate, he can't be happy that the Nobel Prize for Literature went to a Canadian (11) woman (12) living in Iceland (13).  Ya couldn't make it up!

The secondhand prize he got from the current Venezuelan President is invalid, as the Nobel peace prize is non-transferable.
