This item came up on a facebook page recently for taxis and most of the contributions came from drivers that felt hard done by.Do they not realise it's 3.2% of gross takings?

It'll take c.500 fares to cover the cost of programming/sealing, then there's the time all that takes. Any mention of protest/judicial review?

Does this mean we'll have to carry around a load of coppers to dish out change in less than 10 cent increments? They should have just rounded to the neares 5 or 10 cent.

It's nice to see a fare increase announcement the same day Mytaxi announce we can now put on the pick up charge. Should make a nice difference to the bottom line.

Given that most....well all shops round up or down except when paying by card,i don't see why it shouldn't apply here but the last fare review end up with fares being even....as opposed to odds!!

It's all good news these day.
Mytaxi adding the PUC.
NTA giving us 3.22% pay rise.

My taxi meter clock is 5 mins slow anyway,
so that needed fixing and reseal anyway.
IT'S ALL GOOD !

I checked my meter and it's 25 minutes fast.
I remember ken from skan taxi mentioning that the time could go out of whack.
He showed me how to fiddle it back but he's such a mope I wanted away from him.
It's a semitron mirror meter. anybody know how to do it.
