Hackers create a traffic nightmare by sending hundreds of Moscow taxi cabs to the same address

Dozens of drivers working for Yandex Taxi in Moscow likely had a frustrating day. Hackers breached the app, sending dozens of cars to the exact location, forming a traffic jam that lasted up to three hours.

Reports on Twitter claim that cars were sent to the Kutuzovsky Prospekt, a major avenue in Moscow. One of the best-known objects in the area is the Stalinist-era building, the 'Hotel Ukraina' or Hotel Ukraine.

Yandex Taxi is owned by Russia's largest IT corporation Yandex, often dubbed the Russian Google. EU has sanctioned the company's co-founder Arkady Volozh, claiming his search engine is "de-ranking and removing content critical of the Kremlin, such as content related to Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine."

Vladimir Putin tested Conor McGregor's whiskey for poison before drinking it
UFC hero Conor McGregor gifted the very first bottle of his own brand Proper Twelve whiskey to Vladimir Putin - but the Russian president had to have it checked first



Vladimir Putin doesn't trust anyone or anything - not even Conor McGregor and his own brand whiskey.

Putin, the despotic leader who invaded Ukraine without reason last month, met McGregor during the 2018 World Cup held in Russia.


During their brief liaison, the Notorious offered the Russian premier a bottle of his Proper Twelve whiskey as a gift.

But security were quick to swoop in and get their hands on the booze before checking it for any poisonous ingredients.

"Many people don't know, the very first bottle of Proper Twelve Irish whiskey, I gifted to Vladimir Putin," McGregor told a press conference in Russia in 2019.

"President Putin's security detail is second to none as I'm sure you know, you don't mess around with Vladimir.

"So, I gifted the bottle and I gifted it to his security.

"They had to take the liquid from the bottle to make sure the liquid was safe and it was not maybe poisoned or what not and then it was gifted to Vladimir Putin."


McGregor added that he wasn't able to have a drink with the president, saying: "I haven't got to speak to him since to see what he thought of it, although I'm sure he did have a taste and I'm sure he enjoyed it."

The Irishman was in Russia to promote his whiskey, as well as to announce plans for his UFC comeback.

McGregor did indeed return to the octagon later that year, losing to Dagestan fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov.

He's now on the comeback trail once again, albeit for different reasons this time around.
