that Donegal one had to walk home after her Christmas party 

then the ejit presenter that was on with her said its very hard to get a taxi and it used to be 10 euro to get home by taxi, now it is 20 euro, that pissed me off because taxi fares haven't doubled in the last couple of years, so they are just lying now. Also these ejits wouldn't think twice about paying 20 euro for  a few drinks but they begrudge the taxi driver getting a few quid to drop them home at 4 am.

I have been saying it for years to passengers, that it wouldnt be worth taxis working if people could get one within 5 minutes on a weekend night.

it is actually not worth it as it is my my town. I got a 6:30 am trip sunday, long trip, I am taking that rather than working from 10 to 4 tonight, same money for the long trip and the passengers wont be drunk and giving me abuse.
