Taxi Saver is still the default option on the rider app but Taxi is now the same price according to their estimated fares... so by not changing the selection from the default Taxi Saver you're costing the driver an extra 10% commission with no saving for you. I guess most folk wouldn't be arsed changing it if all they want is a normal car.

Whatever happened to the Taxi Saver thing being at Peak hours only ?
If'n the Doob drivers had boycotted this during the initial pilot scheme last year, we wouldn't be here today !

It's obvious now that the plan was always to increase commission so they have the funds to compete with the likes of Uber, Bolt, Hola et al without paying drivers more than they charge riders. In a year or two we'll probably be harping back to the days when commission was only 25%.
