Partial closure of Luas Red Line this weekend
« on: October 15, 2026, 05:52:25 pm »
Might be useful to some of youse... Partial closure of Luas line to bring ‘significant’ disruption this weekend

Quote
There will be a partial closure of Luas Red Line services across the weekend.

There will be no tram services operating between Tallaght/Saggart and Heuston, from the start of services on Saturday, October 17 to the start of services on Monday, October 19.

This is inclusive of all services from the first tram on Saturday, to the last service on Sunday.

Passengers are being warned of “significant” disruption to commutes due to the temporary partial closure.

That's mad.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

I know!  Normally they wait until a bank holiday when people might be travelling abroad or going to a concert in the city.  It's almost like they're trying to minimize disruption?

Where are the licensed Vintners... this can't be good for the night time economy up above in Dublin.

What about the roundabouts in Swords. You'd think they woulda had the sense to upgrade Junction 3 of the M1 to a two way interchange before starting that never ending nonsense.
