I'm sorry John but you are wrong on a few things.

That's rather polite, in fact it extends being charitable well beyond the realms of credibility.

you really must research stuff before you post nonsence Vic ..https://www.independent.ie/business/irish/athenry-residents-seek-to-appeal-decision-over-850m-apple-data-centre-development-36260841.html

No Erm, you're wrong. You posted that there was nothing in the plans for a substation. I proved that there was.

That link you posted is the same BS that was posted before., they just changed it to look like it just happened when it happened months ago

Again you know fuck all the application that was granted does not contain any application for a sub station .The application that was granted only refers to one of the data halls .It is invisaged that there will be a sub station but why would they bother when the Irish government is guarenteing the electricity supply and they are looking to site back up generators .But of course you know best me and the ex Attorney General who is representing the applicants pro bono should bow to your greater knowledge .

https://www.irishtimes.com/business/technology/apple-given-go-ahead-to-start-850m-data-centre-in-athenry-1.3253502?mode=amp

**The permission at issue concerned Phase 1, a 23,505sq m single-storey data hall, a logistics and administration centre, ancillary and associated works. The master plan for all phases of the data centre envisaged eight data halls in total plus other development, including an electricity subrstation and 144 standby diesel generators, to be built over 15 years.**

Easier to just quote my quote.
This is where it says that the substation is in the plans.

YOU still have not shown proof that the government guaranteed power. That's something that could/would never happen as look what happened when OPHELIA hit town, there was blackouts.  That's why these places build their own substations and actually give power back to the grid. They also have generators on site incase there is a blackout. UPS devices will only last a few minutes in those places.

But as usual your spout your shite everywhere hoping that someday you will get something right. Just like LAH

Read what the MD told the planners about where the power will be generated ..https://www.independent.ie/business/irish/apple-athenry-centre-will-need-more-than-dublins-daily-electricity-supply-hearing-34744102.html

Mr Mulcahy said a range of experts would address the concerns. He said while the company was committed to using renewable energy, it was not proposing any generating facilities on site but would be connected to the national grid.

No MD mentioned in that article John.
Plus that's from May 2016. They've had multiple hearings since then and the planning application hasn't changed
