There was a foreign game in Croker before the Ireland vs France "historical" rugby game.
Anyone care to guess ?

Wasn't it American Football
`Twas. Mid 90`s Notre Dame vs Navy college game.  Croker also hosted an exhibition grid iron game after WWII . "No foreign games " me arse.

Helen would find it hard to cover her expenses doing 5.5 hours per week, minicabs over there comprise 75+% of the PSV fleet and have similar expenses to taxis over here. In my experience, most are driven by first generation immigrants who work long hours to facilitate a better future for their Children... again, not dissimilar to taxis over here.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

I was with Blue Cabs back then, had the account for driving them lads to and from training sessions. Picked up 4 of 'em at Croke Park one evening in a Toyota Corolla, I think their knees left dents in the roof but to be fair to them they thought it was great craic.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.
