1st day, 1st test v Pakistan. England all out for 184 after winning the toss and choosing to bat. Puts the Irish performance into context.

Not at all... same squad of 16. All their top men played... in fact they were as happy as the Irish to see it get a bit competitive, they needed that to sharpen up and acclimatise for the England series.

Pakistan win by 9 wickets before lunch on day 4... On to Edgebaston on Fri!
