Busy night expected with Liverpool drivers missing.
« on: October 07, 2018, 09:27:12 am »
It will probably be a busy night tonight fer Taxi drivers as I expect the vast Liverpool supporting contingent of Taxi drivers to be missing and instead take a night off to watch their team play at home to their main premier league rivals Man City, Kick-off 4.30pm.

Half of them have probably never even been in Liverpool. They wouldn't watch their local league of Ireland them if they were playing in their back garden, bunch of west brits.

At last,.someonre who actually agrees with me.fukk all these Irish people who support British football instead of their own domestic league.wjats even worse is,when these fukking ENGLISH teams  come over here to play a friendly match against an Irish team, the Irish go and support the brits AGAINST their own.they should hang their heads in shame.ill be in cork tomorrow for our cup semi final replay against cork city, and win ,loose,or draw, ill be happy in the knowledge I supported my domostic team, instead of the brits

its the Irish inferiority complex, you cant beat live football, 20 euro and you have a great seat in a stand at a league of Ireland game. But they would rather watch liverpool on tv. Then they look at you like you should be in an insane asylum for supporting league of Ireland.

Plenty of home-team support outside Dublin. Too many teams in Dublin for a relatively small city.

The Irish parents don't even go to watch their kids play at underage level, I go to about one match a week to watch my son play and most often I am the only parent on the sidelines.

Lippy there is not that much support ether in Dublin,or outside it.u can speak with some authority on this, because as you know,I am a passionate league of Ireland supporter, and have been for many many years.30 a member of Bohemians, and I travel everywhere with them even into Europe ,on the odd occasion we make it .ill be in cork tonight for the cup semi final replay.(RTE2 ) I would NEVER support any other league, but my own.its hard to take it when irish people support the brits instead of their own,but whats even harder to take is,when they supoirt the brits AGAINST their own,and then they have the cheek to call themselves soccer supporters.these same fukkers criticise the LOI,and would not pay 15-euros into a LOI ground, yet they have no problem goung over to the UK ,and spending hendreds of pounds to sypport the brits.I have always believed if you want to make your own league better, then you have to supoirt it financially.if people do that, then our best players could make a decent licing here

@ DM, Good points and well made but unfortunately it is never going to happen, the money fer young lads is in England or Europe and the young lads will always always chase the money, even my own small fella (17) might make the grade and I would not discourage him from travelling.

Bohs were robbed the other night/////////////Cork have a strong following as do Dundalk and of course, The Hoops. Think they could pare Dublin teams back one or two. St Pats seem to be in trouble in many ways.

Forgot to mention Derry City...huge following too. The Brandywell is always well attended, Dalyer as is Turner's X.
