Those new LED headlights seem to be a lot worse than traditional bulbs. I'm not sure if whiter light is better or worse for the eyesight. The more lumens the whiter the light... a couple of years back I replaced most of my house light bulbs with ultra low power consumption LEDs, selecting the most expensive which was the highest Lumen number so the light should be as close as is possible to "natural" daylight. I'm not sure if I did the right thing, the less "natural" cheaper yellow light emitted by most traditional (non fluorescent) bulbs and cheaper LEDs may well be better for the eyesight, any thoughts?

Buy a box of quality Street ratti and you know the coloured wrappers?  You could save money glueing them to the bulbs to tone them down a bit and yud have different colour rooms of your choice saving on painting..... Put them on wit sellotape to test

Dunno, I like the white light... just not sure if it's good, bad or indifferent to my deteriorating eyesight. I guess I could cut down on the masturbation.

Way too much information there Ratcatcher,
but all the old cliches state that masturbation is not good fer your eyesight and most usually all the old cliches are True.

As fer Light, I had a science teacher once (whom I actually listened to) he told us that Yellow light penetrates the air better than any other colour.

Does that make it better or worse for the eyes? A lot of the new LED headlights are very white - obviously very high Lumens.

Bean fat  kills..... It rots everything....
And makes you blind....clogs your arteries to the optic nerves and your willy..... So the fatter you get the less likely you are to be able to play with yourself and therefore your eyesight gets better after a while....

Hope that made sense

LED's are retinal destructors. Soon enough around the Fingal area you'll see the non-Alf Garnetts wearing Black Hoods and leggings with Ablino eyes.....The Omega Man...

I think mine has Halogen. The last two did anyway... H1 for the main beam and H7 for the dipped.
