I didn't take one myself yesterday but I did see them, nice jackets in black they were definately with No hood.

I often wondered why drivers who obviously don't have the ability to run their own business,ever left the PAYE sector ,?surely if you need to be told what to do like a school child the SELF EMPLOYED industry is n place for you ,,? If you can't work on your own initive and find your own work what the fukk are you doing in a SELF EMPLOYED INDUSTRY ,?? R at is always giving out about the commission drivers have to pay to FN yet he works with them ,he lives can 20000000000000 yet he won't go back to them,am I missing something here ?

I am not an employee of any company .I do not have to adhere to any rules laid down by any employer.the only rules I have to adhere to are those laid down by the NTA ,and the Gardai.drivers on the other hand,who align themselves with radio dispatchers are subject to wherever rules are invoked by that company.so how can they in all honesty declare themselves to be self employed ?

There is a lot of competition out there for all SE people in every industry, you have got to do what it takes to survive.

I'm sure the SE painter will do his best to undercut the next guy or maybe have a nice van or wear nice cloths when he is quoting . It's all part of the SE game.
