i've never seen a female taxi driver out in the field emptying the tank or laying some cable down after a bogey ruby murray.

A common thing years ago was dropping a passenger to the post office to collect his dole.
Wait for him then bring him to the offie and bookies and home.
Didn’t get one of those jobs in a very long time.

Dole paid into the bank he now bets on line and rings Supervalue to deliver the cheap cider and a Batch loaf for the kids toasted breakfast .

True, didn’t think of that.
Or a cab to drop the Childers to school.

One of the worst jobs I ever done was to drop an envelope with money in it up to Cork prison.
This woman’s son had no money in his tuck shop account and wanted to top it up by 20 quid.
Thought I could hand it to some screw and feck off.
Na, had to queue up like everyone else, sign some form that I handed money over, searched and then I couldn’t go out the door I came in.
Never again

I got hit by this one during the week.
"do ye need a license to drive a taxi."
then on friday night I heard one of my favourites administered by an aulone with the aufla.
standard drill, upper middle class patronizing cunts.
"you'll have to join the back of the queue now won't you."
which reminds me of a joke.

What's the worst thing about being black and jewish?...

...ye havta stand at the back of the gas chamber.
