@ JohnM:
You should read James Lovelock's Gaia hypothesis

Quote
The Gaia hypothesis...proposes that living organisms interact with their inorganic surroundings on Earth to form a synergistic and self-regulating, complex system that helps to maintain and perpetuate the conditions for life on the planet.

Ya wa Gay ???

What's that? Yahweh is gay?
I'd say he's bisexual - sure doesn't he love everyone?

As per the opening post I'll tell you my story;
I was never much of a gardener, but during this recent drought I have taken to watering the Palm tree and the flowers/plants in the car park of my apartment block.
There was an 'X-Files' situation that happened last weekend while watering those plants and I'll take a few photos before posting that story.

Just last weekend (July 2018) I had this strange situation, it was either an 'X-Files' case or an unbelievable coincidence.

I have this Palm tree in the car park of my small apartment block.

and also a few flowers around the side.

During the recent drought I had taken to watering the plants and Palm tree daily,
filling a 2 liter bottle of water fer each of them from the outdoor tap.

But last Saturday night being the lazy kount that I am, I didn't bother giving the plants any water
when I was starting my shift at 7pm but instead watering the Palm tree only.

At 10pm I was back home fer a Wee and a Coffee, and as usual after that I was stood in
my car park next to my Joe having a smoke with the App turned on waiting fer me next job.

You can see the Palm tree (R.I.P.) in the background behind me Joe.

As I'm waiting I hear a strange noise, granted there was a gentle breeze blowing, but that same gentle breeze had been blowing down that same side alleyway fer the last month.

The noise was the soda bottle after being dislodged from it's pretty secure holding spot;

and now rolling across the car park in front of me.

I'm thinking 'Wow' ! Do the plants have Telekinesis ? Can they make objects move ?

If not, then it was a very strange coincidence that the One time in the last month that I ignored those plants, that the soda bottle popped out at exactly the time later on that I was in the car park and available.
