The link doesn't mean a whole lot. It's only an app designed so we could rat each other for not being compliant.
And keep punters safe.

Yeah, the world elite couldn't wait until April 1st to pull an April Fool's.

2,500 people died in Italy in the last 25 days.  Almost every country in the world is closing their borders and ordering people to stay indoors.

With all the money you make;
You could take a foreign holiday... Only you can't because Ryanair is grounding 'most or all' of its fleet next Tues.
Never mind, you could go for a pint.  Oh yeah, all the pubs are closed.
Never mind, you could buy some new clothes.  Oh yeah, Arnotts, Pennys, BT closed today.
Never mind, you could buy food in McDonalds.  Oh yeah, they only do deliveries and drive-thru now.

20,000 people applied for the dole last Friday.  By next Monday, it's likely that 500,000 people in Ireland will have lost their job...IN_TEN_DAYS...  The Govt is basically giving anyone who asks free money for the next 6 weeks.

you are doing exactly what they want you to do, im mortified for the people i see running around like headless chickens today with masks and gloves on. All governments want us in constant fear, it has always been the same, this is just the latest edition. what would people be like if there was a virus that if you got you had a 1 % chance of living? id rather be dead than to buy into fear like this.

Italy has a population of of 60 million. most deaths are people over 80 or people with other serious health problems, that is what usually happens, its nature, its a new flu they havent got a vaccine for yet. relax.

In Ireland, the numbers/day went something like 20-20-20-40-40-60-70.  Next numbers are out at 8.45pm.  They're expecting 105.  Can you see a trend there?  15,000 by the end of March (2 weeks away)...

This is us in a 7-10 days

Italy has reported 475 new deaths from the novel coronavirus, the highest one-day official toll of any nation since the first case was detected in China late last year.

In total, the number of deaths in Italy have reached 2,978, more than half of all the cases recorded outside China, while the number of infections reached 35,713.

The previous record high of 368 deaths was also recorded in Italy, on Sunday.

Italy, a nation of 60 million, has now recorded 34.2% of all the deaths officially attributed to Covid-19 across the world.

The rates within Italy itself remained stable, with two-thirds of the deaths - 1,959 in all - reported in the northern Lombardy region around Milan, the Italian financial and fashion capital.

In France, the virus has caused 89 new deaths over the last 24 hours bringing the total death toll in the country to 264.

"We have an epidemic that is rapidly becoming more serious," the country's top health official told reporters. He added that France now had 9,134 confirmed cases, 3,626 of whom were in hospital.

Are 'the experts' saying it's a flu as well?
FFS, China sent planes to Italy to get the Chinese back home.  China has also closed it borders/airports to stop (what you call the flu) getting back into China.

What about the lockdowns in Spain and France?  In France, you get fined if you leave your house without a good reason.
The EU is closing it's borders (airports) to non-essential travel for the next 30 days.
The UK is closing the schools on Friday.
Switzerland (not EU) has mobilized it's army.
The Nordic countries are also on lockdown and giving out free money to its citizens.
America is giving free money to it's citizens (kinda).  They've also closed the border with Canada.

All Irish tourists urged to fly home by Saturday

The Department of Foreign Affairs has urged all Irish tourists in Spain to travel home by this Saturday.....The vast majority of queries relate to concerned travellers in Spain whilst another large category of callers is from people on cruise ships, unsure where they will be able to dock.

Peru’s President Martin Vizcarra today announced an immediate restriction on overnight movement across the country in a bid to halt the spread of coronavirus.

Whilst Chilean President Sebastian Pinera today declared a 90-day state of catastrophe as cases of the new coronavirus mounted, giving the government extraordinary powers to restrict freedom of movement and assure food supply and basic services.

something that I cant understand is why are so many young people in Ireland, who arent sick staying in their house 24/7 now?

we havent been asked or told to stay in have we?

I saw two people with surf boards on the roof of their car earlier, loads of people out walking or running, I think they are far better off surfing, walking or running, than someone stuck in their house watching netflix and RTE news.
