Were you never on the scratcher before... Bank holidays are paid in advance so you can go away for the weekend and/or have a bet on the Monday.

No, I ain't been on the scratcher in over 30 years.  Hopefully this blows over by xmas, probably not but hopefully

Sorry, it's the Childrens allowance I was thinking off... I'm told normal dole isn't paid early for bank holidays... at least not to those who collect used notes from the post office.
