They're disposable.  Assuming you get 10 passengers/day and throw it away after each passenger, they'll be gone in a week.

Why would you throw it away after each passenger?

When you're breathing through the disposable mask, you create a wet/damp patch on the mask.  The virus grows on the wet patch, you inhale it, and then you get ill...  Or you touch the wet patch and rub your eye and then you get ill...

Even with the reusable ones, I think I read you should change them every 2 hours?
