Look at it the other way the more pensioners that prove they are available to work the higher the eligible pension age will go.There's very little sympathy for guys that have 10k in their pocket before they start a week's work.

Well id rather have the PUP then the 10 k your talking about,because it is more  plus now you can work as well

Daly you are confused.The lads who can earn 480 a month lose the PUP if they go over it. They might think they can fiddle it but they'll be caught by the bollox if welfare call them in and than revenue will want to have a chat too.

You can earn as much as you want on top of your two pensions without being penalised.

Most are only getting 250 a week on Covid which will be reduced to 203 in February.Then gone altogether April 1st unless something changes.You are in a very privileged position.

I dont get full pension because in eircom I didnt pay a full stamp,and as for earning 480,I stopped working nearly a month ago because I could not even earn a tenner a night,and thats the absolute truth

So you only get two half pensions?Or one state one and a half eircom pension?Sounds complicated.

No I dont get full state pension cause if you only pay a class whatever stamp before retirement,d then you dont get full state pension upon retirement
