Will it work
« on: October 20, 2020, 02:46:26 pm »
A lot of small business owners are saying fuck it im not closing let them fine me .The courts will be over run .I have serious doubts that the public will observe this lockdown .How is it more dangerous to but a toy hammer in Smyths than buy a real one in BnQ or more dangerous to buy clothes than buy food .When people realize this lockdown is only to bring us back to where we are now I dont think they will get the buy in .Mixed signals Mick was trying to give us some Christmas Cheer then Leo does a Leo and pulls the rug out from under him .RTe and TV 3 not giving a fair view of the anger that is out there .

They are discussing legislation changes and bringing in fines now for non compliance. if people don't play ball they will be hit in the pocket. An area where people arent going to do what they are told is house visits, I see it with my own family, my parents wont refuse their kids entry to their house but they probably should. if everyone acts like this the virus will spread. Paddy just loves to do his own thing.

Talking to our kid she recons if they introduce fines for house parties or traveling outside your county that young people will organise a huge Party In with House parties in their tens of thousands all kicking off at the same time .Its a huge Civil liberties decision to grant the Gards the Right to say who you can have in your own personal property .Its probably actually unconstitutional .They intend to use some 1940s legislation they introduced to fight TB that is still on the Law books but todays generation dont give either of their fucks about the law they will see it as oppressions .If they make the wrong move on enforcement this will blow up and unlike earlier political activism this revolt will be lead by women as they seem to be the big losers in how this pandemic is being played out .

They could have private lives matter protests. im sure most young people do care about the law, they mightnt agree with the laws but im sure they will obey them.

why are women the big losers in this pandemic?

YES Robert /Bob This state is teetering on the Edge has been since two gangs decided to go all Gunfight at the Ok Hotel .Our Army is underfunded our Police is under funded under motivated under pressure .You can bet your bollox that Drug cartels using FB or Twitter or Whats App will stir the shit .Look at the Oliver Bond Party now multiply that by many .I posted Here a long time ago that after Brexit the British Government will order British Troops onto the streets of Britain to shoot British Citizens as they revolt against the deception of Brexit I wouldnt rule out some more OK Coral shit in America on November the 5th as I said wait and read the Headlines in the Indo on the 6th of November .Social media is a dangerous weapon in the wrong hands .I saw some of the Whats App chat the night they broke down Lidil in Tallaght it was organised and activated in about ten minutes .In the Salty air domain of Dalkey all might be serene but the 8,10.12s and 22s people are angry especially Girls who judge themselves against others by their ability to give their kids good Christmases .

Look at the industries that are closed and the ones that are allowed trade on Construction and Manufacturing would be male dominated while shop work hotel work restaurant work would be mainly female dominated .You can buy a length of 4x2 rough timber but you cant get make up .Its perception we are not all in this togeather not like the first time .Are kids smoking Pot or taking powder obaying the Law did University Students obey the law when it came to indoor gatherings .?

Are industries closed to women? I dont think so, they are there for everyone. They can buy their make up online if they need it, any amount of it. look at the serious increase in female presenters and commentators on soccer tv shows, they even had women playing in a charity match lately in England mixed with men, which is ridiculous, the womens shots were so weak, its actually a wonder the male keepers didnt jump out of the way and let them in, thats how pc the world is going. did you see the big deal they made of Aguero putting his hand on the female assistant refs shoulder? if it was a man there wouldnt have been a thing about it. The BBC and them idiots on off the ball falling over themselves to act outraged.

Hilary Clinton could have been president easily only for the fact shes even more unlikable than Trump.

He didn't lose his job because of the virus so I'd say it's the regular dole for him...

https://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/social_welfare_payments/unemployed_people/covid19_pandemic_unemployment_payment.html

Quote
To qualify for PUP, you must:

Have lost your job or been laid off because of COVID-19

Or

Be self-employed and your your trading income has ceased due to the COVID-19 public health emergency or your trading income has collapsed to the extent that you are available to take up other full-time employment. You do not need to de-register as self-employed to get a payment.

But there might a silver lining (if he's married/kids etc).  Further down the page, it says:

Quote
Should I apply for PUP or a jobseeker payment?
If you have lost your job and have dependants, you may get a higher payment if you apply for Jobseeker’s Benefit (JB) or Jobseeker's Allowance (JA) instead of PUP. This is because PUP does not pay anything extra for dependants. Your dependants include your spouse or partner and your children.

If you were working casually, and were getting a jobseeker’s payment, and you became fully unemployed as a result of the COVID-19 emergency, you can claim PUP.
