GlaxoSmithKline
« on: January 17, 2021, 10:32:18 am »
These shower of B@stards (GSK) have yet to show their head above the parapet;

Public health researchers identified pools of children on whom to trial vaccines.
In Ireland, as in the US and the UK, they found them in institutions.
The mother-and-baby homes provided medical researchers with 'captive populations', as subjects were in one place and could be easily monitored.

In Ireland, research was led by the distinguished microbiologist, late Professor Patrick Meenan, who was also a government adviser.
Trials were carried out on behalf of Wellcome, later to become GlaxoSmithKline.
In the professor's own words: "There was a tradition of doing testing in orphanages. You went to where the material was to put it crudely."
Trials were carried out on infants not only in Bessborough, and St Pat's but also Sean Ross Abbey, Castlepollard, Dunboyne and others.

From the 1930s to the 1970s, Wellcome used Irish babies to test not only experimental vaccines, but also infant milk products.
The commission confirmed that these trials, originally reported by the Examiner, were carried out at Bessborough and St Pat's Navan Road on at least two occasions in 1968 and 1969.

The Commission found that the trials in seven institutions it investigated were illegal and unethical even by the standards of the time.
It said scientists lacked the correct research licences and failed to comply with contemporary regulatory standards.
The report concludes that these trials would have been a basic breach of the Nuremberg Code, following the trial of Nazi doctors accused of conducting murderous and torturous human experiments in the Nazi concentration camps during World War II.
The existence of a trial at Bessborough of an experimental '5 in 1' vaccine (anti diphtheria, polio, tetanus, whooping cough and measles), first reported by RTÉ's Prime Time, has been confirmed by the Commission.

The Commission's report contains a list of the trials:

1930
Trial of Wellcome anti-diphtheria vaccine on 142 children in two unidentified orphanages and to 436 children aged between eight months and 14 years among the general child population in Cork city.

1934
Trial of Wellcome anti-diphtheria vaccine on 24 children, varying in age from seven months to 14 years, resident in the Dublin Union, later known as St Pat’s.

1934-36
Trial of Wellcome 'one-shot' anti-diphtheria vaccine to 250 children in an unidentified residential institution for boys and to 2,541 children among the general population in Co Cork.

1935
Trial of Wellcome vaccine on 46 children, aged four to 15 years, resident in St Vincent’s Industrial School, Goldenbridge, St Joseph’s School for Deaf Boys, Cabra, and St Saviour’s Orphanage, Lower Dominick Street, Dublin.

1935
Trial of Wellcome anti-diphtheria vaccine in children’s residential institutions in Tipperary.

1960/1961
Trial of Wellcome Quadruple (4 in 1) vaccine ‘Quadrivax’ on 58 infants and children resident in a number of institutions, including Bessborough, St Patrick’s Home, Navan Road (Pelletstown); Dunboyne; and Castlepollard.

1964
Trial of Wellcome ‘Wellcovax’ measles vaccine on 12 children living in Sean Ross.

1964/65
Trial of Glaxo Laboratories ‘Mevilin-L’ measles vaccine on children living in Bessborough and St Patrick’s, Navan Road (Pelletstown).

1965
Trial of Glaxo Laboratories ‘Quintuple’ (5 in 1) vaccine on children Bessborough and St Patrick’s, Navan Road (Pelletstown).

1968/1969
Trial of Glaxo Laboratories ‘Mevilin-L’ measles vaccine on at least 30 children resident in St Patrick’s, Navan Road (Pelletstown).

1970
Trial of Wellcome’s Rubella vaccine on 72 children living in the general community and 69 children aged between two and 18 years old "resident in an orphanage in a suburb of Dublin".

1973
Trial of Wellcome’s modified DTP vaccine on 65 children in the general community and 53 children resident in St Patrick’s, Navan Road (Pelletstown), and in three residential children’s homes.

1965
Possible oral polio vaccine trial in St Patrick’s, Navan Road (Pelletstown).
The Commission has also confirmed that two milk trials first reported in the Irish Examiner, had taken place.
They were clinical trials into experimental infant milk conducted in St Pat’s Navan Road (Pelletstown), and Bessborough in 1968/69.

Ken when you go into your local Centra to pick up a Jar or Tin of whatever you can be sure most of the ingredients have been tested on humans its just how it is .The creation of Vacinnes for Children would need to be tested on Children and Im sure Your Mother or Mine would not of offered our arm for experiment .Undoubtedly it was the Health Minister of the Day and not the Mother Superior who permitted this practice but bigger picture we have eradicated Childhood death from Dypteria, Polio and Measles so unfortunatly we must say the ends justified the means no matter how violated we feel by the practice .The whole Joseph Mengela reference is somewhat exaggerated .

To see GSK's webpage today you would think they were great, the Bee's Knee's in fact and 'Butter would not melt in their mouth' !
https://www.gsk.com/en-gb/home/

But to turn the clock back just a little bit, actually only 8.5 years ago, this happened;

In July 2012, GSK pleaded guilty in the United States to criminal charges, and agreed to pay $3 billion, in what was the largest settlement until then between the Justice Department and a drug company. The $3 billion included a criminal fine of $956,814,400 and forfeiture of $43,185,600. The remaining $2 billion covered a civil settlement with the government under the False Claims Act. The investigation was launched largely on the basis of information from four whistleblowers who filed qui tam (whistleblower) lawsuits against the company under the False Claims Act.

The charges stemmed from GSK's promotion of the anti-depressants Paxil and Wellbutrin for unapproved uses from 1998 to 2003, specifically as suitable for patients under the age of 18, and from its failure to report safety data about Avandia (rosiglitazone), both in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Other drugs promoted for unapproved uses were two inhalers, Advair and Flovent, as well as Zofran, Imitrex, Lotronex and Valtrex.

The settlement also covered reporting false best prices and underpaying rebates owed under the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, and kickbacks to physicians to prescribe GSK's drugs. There were all-expenses-paid spa treatments and hunting trips for doctors and their spouses, speakers' fees at conferences, and payment for articles ghostwritten by the company and placed by physicians in medical journals. The company set up a ghostwriting programme called CASPPER, initially to produce articles about Paxil but which was extended to cover Avandia.

Again Ken you are getting all mixed up .Almost every drug approved for use is not approved for use .Look at the Covid Vaccines NONE OF THEM are APPROVED for use .They are APPROVED FOR EMERGENCY USE .and governments are indemnifying the Drug Companies .Even Asprin can lead to death it can cause bleeding but it provides more good than bad .Drug companies settle multi Billion claims every week Johnstones Baby Powder can Cause Cancer and the Worlds best Weedkiller can cause cancer so can the Sun and smoking and drinking and breathing .Its a Game Big Pharma make big money and create jobs for Doctors and Lawyers .None of it matters its a numbers game just like horse racing of Football there will be casualties but that wont stop us watching or playing .£ billion is nothing in big Pharma .America wants to keep its population Drugged especially its younger population they are the most medicated people on earth .So some hairy chinned youngone had a reaction to some Tablets her parents ordered from the Family HEALTH provider and wanted some Guilt money .

Are you saying that you agree with Wellcome/GlaxoSmithKline + The Irish Gov and the churches decision to go in to Irish Mother and Baby homes and trial their vaccines on the illegitimate babies without their Mothers consent ?

A lot of unethical things are done for the Greater Good .Its a bit like the Death Sentence some would say Hang all Murderers to protect society from them .Its hard to look back on past events with our present morality .If we did we would Ban Smoking ,Petrol engines ,Sugar .We still ask were the Americans right to Nuke Japan they say yes it prevented more deaths and ended the war faster .Im sure Japanease people wouldnt agree but a lot of them that would of been killed in a prolonged World War are still alive to have an opinion  .Its why they call it the Moral Maze you change your mind at every twist and turn .

I did contact GSK directly by email on this about the same time as I started this topic last month.
I got a very wishy-washy reply from one of their very top dogs today.
It didn't sit well at all, at all.
So like a dog with a bone I replied very politely, well kind politely, it was all very polite till the last line where I told them that GSK had Blood on their Hands ! And that the former Wellcome and Glaxco employees who worked hand in hand with the Irish government and church on trials on Irish orphans fer 40 years must know or have an idea of where all the bessborough babies are buried.
The email sent was maybe a tad disturbing to the GSK reader, but everything in it is based on fact and the facts of bessborough are disturbing, but in reality all we (the people of Cork) most want today is to know where the hundreds of dead bessborough babies are buried.
