The last time I was on a Ryan air flight I was badly hungover and crammed between 2 seats,I am too tall for his planes, thankfully I slept for about half the journey.

I went to the offie around 8pm to pick up something to wet the shamrock, had to queue outside behind about 20 others, those offies are making a fortune out of this flu.

I took my car for a drive to charge the battery last evening. Driving through town I noticed a licenced public house door open with plenty of comings and goings so I drove round to the Garda COVID '19 checkpoint, ignored the wave through, stopped and asked why said public house was open. The Garda told me that were doing food all day, mentioning another licensed premises that was also open and adding "sure you can get a pint too". Is it just takeaway, asks I... I suppose so, says he in a decidedly unconvincing tone, adding something about "drowning the shamrock"... all while questioning immigrants and the like about the purpose of their travel!
