Can anybody see anything but utter carnage if there's hundreds of these zipping from side to side in the bus lane, dark morning/night,dark clothes,no helmet or hi-vis.

Hopefully they'll all be in that bus lane at the same time and only one bus will be required!!

E-scooters now green-lit but legislation could take some time (Irish Times, today)

Sounds like a blind eye will be turned to the e-scooters.

They should design a roadside memorial to E-scutterers, perhaps an e-scutter tastefully wrapped around a lamppost, or better still, embedded in a concrete bollard. 8)

FFS.....cunts would only wreck it!! lol
Wouldn't it be Ironic if he was east European?  "Pole wrapped around a Pole". 8)

Carnage would be good for opponents of these things. If eScooter road deaths exceed Motorcycle road deaths per 1,000 kilos or whatever there'd be a reasonable case for banning them. It would make sense to lower the speed limit  to 30 kilos per hour where a relatively high concentration of eScooters can be reasonably predicted e.g. within the opeational areas of any "Boris Bike" type schemes.
